Emma Tabatabai
Senior Country Representative -Malaysia, Brunei, ICT
Emma Tabatabai joined the US-ASEAN Business Council in May 2015. Currently she serves as Senior Country Representative in the Kuala Lumpur office working on Malaysia, Brunei and ICT.
Emma brings with her extensive government relations and public affairs experience to the Council’s work. Previously, she served as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of an oil and gas company, coordinating the company’s government relations and public affairs. She has also been a TV journalist for an independent television station, a Jr. Designer in an international architecture firm and a customer relations agent with a major airline.
In her current job, Emma helps to enhance Council’s visibility and presence by managing and promoting Council events and programs organized in Malaysia. She also helps in bringing Council members’ business issues to the attention of the governments. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Raffles College of Higher Education in Singapore.
